At WellnessOne of Napless, we understand that you may be curious about what to expect when you visit our office for the first time. For that reason, we have created the following step by step virtual tour to help familiarize you with our normal office procedures.

Welcome to WellnessOne of Naples!

Many of our patients have told us that they immediately felt at home and relaxed as soon as they walked in the door of our office and were greeted by our friendly, professional staff.

At WellnessOne, we treat every patient exactly as we would like to be treated. We take great pride in providing the highest level of professionalism and competence and in taking the time to get to know our patients on a personal, caring level.

We will help you fill out your paperwork.

After you are greeted by a member of our staff, you will be asked to fill out a brief, confidential case history form in our waiting area. At this time, you can also discuss any questions you have about insurance billing and payment with a member of our staff.

The Doctor will review your case history.

As soon as possible, you will be introduced to one of the doctors, who will review your forms and sit down with you in a private room to find out exactly what brought you to our office and to see how we can help you. At this time, the doctors will ask you questions and review your symptoms and history in order to determine exactly what is causing your specific problem. If the doctors do not believe they can help you or that you should visit a different type of Doctor, they will let you know at this time.

The Doctor will perform an Orthopedic and Neurological exam and take x-rays (if needed).

After taking a case history, the Doctor will then proceed with a chiropractic examination. Some of the procedures that may be performed during a typical exam include: Range of motion of the spine, orthopedic and neurological testing, and examination of your problem area on a chiropractic table or while seated in a chair. The patient is normally fully clothed during the exam.

At this time, X-rays may be taken if the doctor needs further information about your condition. In some instances, the patient is referred to a local diagnostic facility for unique x ray views. Over the years, the doctors at WellnessOne have developed a cooperative, professional relationship with most of the major medical facilities in Naples and have a wide database of resources for further medical diagnostic procedures related to your condition if necessary.
You will return that afternoon or the next day and the Doctor will review your X-rays and report of tests with you.

After the Doctors have had sufficient time to review your exam findings, X rays and any other related data, they will spend some time with you explaining the results of their findings. At this time, they often review X ray findings and answer any specific questions you may have about your symptoms or conditions.

The Doctor will treat you as soon as possible.

Now that you now exactly what your diagnosis is and what can be done about it, The doctor will begin treating your condition as soon as possible. Treatment may consist of one or all of the following: Specific chiropractic adjustments to restore motion and proper placement of vertebrae, physical therapy consisting of electrical muscle stimulation, interferential therapy, or ultrasound.
Therapy, rehabilitative exercises, practical advice.

After your adjustment, you may need additional stretching for strengthening or preventive purposes. The Doctor may also test the range of motion of your spinal joints and extremities. She may also offer some specific advice about lifting, muscle strengthening, or sports specific exercises.
We offer a wide variety of chiropractic supports, supplements, and products.

If necessary, the Doctor may also wish to discuss or prescribe supplements that she feels will improve your condition. She may also recommend heat or cold therapy, lumbar supports, orthopedic pillows and prescribe an at home stretching routine.
